Enyeama Says He Is Still In Super Eagles
Vincent Enyeama, the Super Eagles goalkeeper and
assistant captain of the team, has said that he still has an
unfinished business with the reigning African champions.
The international goalkeeper made the declaration while
reacting to his misquoted statements that he has quit
international football.

It would be recalled that the 31-year-old Nigerian goal
keeper after the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil said he was
going to quit the Super Eagles, but has refuted the claims,
while speaking with Supersport.com on Sunday.

"I never said I will never play for the Super Eagles again. I
only said I will consult with my family which is a normal
thing to do. I am still very much a national team player,"
Enyeama said.
The Nigeria number one goalkeeper was honored with an
award for excellence from Guvaps Management, organizers
of the annual Ibom Football Awards in Uyo, Akwa Ibom.
The Lille OSC goalkeeper said he was very elated by with
the honour and promised to work harder in future.

"I am really pleased with this award. I want to thank the
Guvaps management for this. I have won many accolades
in my career but to be honoured by my people in Akwa
Ibom State is special. Charity begins at home so this means
a lot to me. I will continue working harder to achieve even
more," he said.
Enyeama made his debut for the Super Eagles in 2002 and
has won 94 caps for the national team.
Meanwhile, although Nigeria was knocked out of the FIFA
World Cup in Brazil at the round of sixteen, Eagles number
one Enyeama, received a lot of praise from foreign press
and media for his amazing perfomance in the Eagles goal.

Mourinho Attacks Wenger Again
Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho has once again attacked
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, boasting it only took
him 20 minutes to get Cesc Fabregas.
He claimed Cesc was not interested in going back to his old
club, and thats why they got him for £27 million despite
Arsenal having first option on the player.
Arsene Wenger had told his former Spanish captain, that he
wasn't needed due to the surplus of midfielders in the club
like Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere and Mikel
Arteta.
Mourinho said: "I spoke with him 20 minutes. I think he
really wanted to come to us, As you know, Arsenal had an
option where they could interfere, but I think he was not
open to that, I think he was very, very much in our direction,
so it was an easy job for me."
Mourinho then talked of Jack Wilshere, who was recently
caught smoking again, this time in Las Vegas.
He said: "What football players do, millions and millions
are watching, lots of kids are watching".
"I am not a specialist obviously, but I don't think if a football
player smokes one cigar or cigarette with friends in the
summer when he is not training — I don't think it affects his
performance. "What gets affected is that a kid at home
says 'if a top football player can smoke, then I can smoke'
and it is not a problem.
"It is more a social consequence than a physical
consequence."
This was the second time Jack Wilshere has been
photographed smoking, Jack even himself later tweeted a
picture of Zidane smoking and said he is not a smoker but
just had a stick during a night out with guys.

Ideye Overjoyed With Move To England
from his Ukranian club, Dynamo Kyiv to English Premier
league outfit, West Bromwich Albion.
The transfer was worth around a fee of 10 million pounds
and the player signed on to a five year deal with a player
option of one more year.
The 25 year old striker was given West Brom's jersey

Money Was Not The Reason We Lost Against France -Oshaniwa

start but a sudden injury to Echieghiele pushed the
combative defender into the starting position.
Well he came out and told of his joy of featuring in the
World cup and giving an impressive display and also told
reporters that the team did not lose to France due to bonus
rows.
He first started off by clearing the air about the bonus row,
he said: "That's not true; we did our best. It's an issue I will
not like to speak further on".
He was talking to journalist from Vanguard and talked
about the unfortunate injury to AS Monaco's Elderson
Echiejile, saying: "I felt very bad when my friend (Echiejile)
sustained an injury in a friendly match few days to the kick-
off of the World Cup," he said.
"But from then, I knew a huge task was now on me to play
at the left-back position. So, I had no choice but to
encourage myself and believe in my abilities.
"I was never jittery right from the first game against Iran. It
was a great experience playing against great players like
Lionel Messi, Angel Di Maria, Edin Dzeko, Karim Benzema
and Mathieu Valbuena. I feel fulfilled.
The Israel based player has been said to be attracting
interests from clubs around Europe, and Oshaniwa talked
about the interest he has been shown.
He said: "I am happy at Ashdod; they are a nice club, the
fans love me and I am still their player. I just want to have
my rest after playing at the World Cup. I am just focused on
helping Ashdod win titles".
Nigeria 2-0 defeat was alleged to have been caused by the
bonus row between the players and NFF officials 3 days
before the game.
It got so out of hand that by the second day, the players
had refused to train and sat out a day.
It had been widely believed that the players on the eve of
the game of their lives refused to sleep and were fighting

embarrasing the country's image on the world stage.

now plays for FC Ashdod of Israel, he is now highly sought

European football governing body, UEFA, has announced
the shortlist for the Best Player in Europe during 2013/14
football season.
According to list posted on UEFA's website some moments
ago, the likes of Luis Suarez, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel
Messi are all nominated in the ten-strong list from the top
European leagues.
However, Franck Ribery, last year's winner, has not made
the cut this time around.

Ribery's four club teammates - Philipp Lahm, Arjen Robben,
Thomas Muller and Manuel Neuer, all represented Bayern
Munich on the list.
Also, new Chelsea signing Diego Costa makes an
appearance, after the Spain striker showcased a sterling
performance throughout the La Liga season of last year.
Ronaldo and Messi are obvious mentions, while the latter's
Argentina teammate Angel Di Maria makes the list on the
back of plenty of strong performances for Champions
League winners Real Madrid.
