Nigerian Hollywood Atress Uzo Aduba Wins Emmy Award (PHOTOS)

Many of us have seen the comedy series ‘Orange Is The New black’ a comedy drama set to portray the everyday life of women in prison featuring talented actress like Laverne Cox, the first openly transgender actress, Natasha Lyonne and Uzoamaka Nwaneka Aduba, American born actress of Nigerian ancestry.
Aduba who plays the role of Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren, in the comedy series  ‘Orange Is The New black’ received the award for Outstanding Guest Actress at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards which held on Saturday,  August 16, 2014 at the Nokia Theatre in Los  Angeles.

While receiving her award from the presenter Morgan Freeman, the 34-year-old actress was awestruck and excited.
She said, “I don’t know how to say how incredibly impressed I am to be a part of this show day in, day out.”

Speaking to reporters backstage about her big win, she also added, “I feel so full, that’s why the tears come out,”
“I’m stuffed. My cup runneth over right now. Mission accomplished, thank you.”
When asked where where she’ll place her gold award,  Aduba was all smiles.  “I have never thought about where an Emmy should go in my home,” she said. “Now, I have to!”
Congratulations Aduba, you deserve it.
