TRAGIC: Man Killed As ‘One-Chance’ Robbers Push Him From Moving Vehicle Into On-Coming Bus
A yet to be identified man was killed on Saturday, August 16, 2014 after he was pushed from a moving bus and ended up being crushed by another coming from behind. The man, who was said to be in  his 20′s was a victim of robbers popularly known as ‘one-chance’ who operate in commercial buses.

The incident which happened in Aba, Abia state occurred after the victim boarded the bus and was heading towards Aba main motor park. Halfway through the journey, the hoodlums attempted to rob him of his belongings
The Sun reports:
But the young man was said to have resisted the hoodlums, and the driver of the bus veered off Asa road in the melee into Azikiwe Road where they opened the door of their vehicle and pushed the young man out of the moving bus.
To make matters worse for the young man, a com­mercial bus said to be com­ing from behind from the Ariaria market axis crushed him and killed him instant­ly.
An eye witness said, “The commercial bus veered into Azikiwe Road from Asa Road on high speed, and before anybody knew what was happening, some men inside the bus pushed the young man out from the bus and sped off.
“Before people around could rush to give him a helping hand, another com­mercial bus coming from Ariaria market crushed him, and he died instantly.”
When Sunday Sun visited the scene of the incident, the corpse of the young man was still lying in the middle of the road as plain clothe police men who ar­rived the place were trying some numbers they found on his mobile phone to con­tact his relations.
